Happy in Texas...This is my first laptop and I am notoriously CHEAP LOL I had to endure a hospital stay before convincing myself of the need. CL3 provided the best price I could find. I am the sort to putter around and build or RE build my PCs so I shop for ones that can be tinkered on easily. I spent quite a lot of time researching and looking before jumping for this and I must say I am beyond pleased. This Dell D620 may be a few years old but is exactly what I need. The 'used' claim is misleading to say the least. I have looked in local shops at used units and this one came out of the box looking almost NEW. I made this purchase with full awareness of what to expect and had decided on the Dell because of the available parts and add on bits that will make it MINE. Even with the 'battery' disclaimer I was pleased to note that the battery provided will hold up quite well ( I will order a new battery very soon ). I would happily recommend to others to check out CL3 before wasting money on something that might be a lot more IFFY. The questions above don't really apply to this reconditioned unit. First of all, it works well for simple computing needs, However, though it was described as a reconditioned unit I expected it to "look better". l. would have appreciated knowing what year produced and a little warning about how "worn" was. It had NO battery. I'm guessing it was at least 6 years old and heavily used during that time. Perhaps I expected too much for the price..

She seems to be very happy with this PC we bought it for her so she can apply for jobs on line. Apparently she id very happy with it. and of course is able to accomplish personal task as well. Like Facebook. So far two Thumbs up and for the price you can't beat it. Also it ship very quickly. and was here well before Christmas. Outstanding buy in my opinion...

I gave this laptop to a little girl. This 10-year-old child of a neighbor wanted to learn to program after taking a few lessons through her school. It was my good fortune to buy her a computer of her own for Christmas. I do not know exactly how she has faired with it, although I did tell her that if it broke, I would fix it. She has not said anything about that since, so I assume it has continued to work for the last few weeks.

La computadora funciona bien, sólo que la batería no carga. Para utilizarla hay que dejarle la batería todo el tiempo enchufada. El icono de la batería se mantiene todo el tiempo intermitente rojo, indicando que no está cargando. Es algo pesada. De lo demás creo funciona.
