    Crosman Destroyer Hollow Point Pellets

Let me make this quick. I read up on all the ammo brands, variations...penetration power, accuracy, etc. I use my air rifle to shoot pests in my yard. I have a nice Crosman air rifle and I wanted to stick to Crosman ammo, as recommended. All said and done, and Google researched? I bought these. These pellets are higher grain, something I really wanted too. And they are super-accurate, a must for me, as I often only get one shot at pests in my yard, and then they get spooked and cautious, and I might end up having to hunt down the smart ones for weeks! These pellets are the good stuff. So if you need a .177 caliber and your rifle can push a high grain pellet? All systems go!! Paul / Texas

Better on Squirrels than Pointed Tips:

Bought for squirrel control. From .177 Crossman Pistol. Sighting in in comparison with other projectiles, from rest. Best group i can get is in the 9 ring, with 1 in 3 group Center Bullseye. Abought the size of a squirrel torso. (I'm concluding it's the short barrel of the pistol. So + = - hits.) They don't produce desired impact; Few 1 shot kills. Aim point = left shoulder., when I get that sight picture. Recovered pellets flatten + dome. Prefer them over the pointed tips.....

  • use for short range shots.

I didn't realize I would loose as much velocity ., for a short shot it does perform like a hollow point with a mushroom effect.. depends on what you want it for. small varmint control ok , I think the flat end affects accuracy at a longer distance. due to air friction.

  • High quality ammo, long distance accuracy and hard hitting. My new favorite!

I have bben using daisy pointed precision max pellets for about 10 years, as long as I can remember them being offered for use in any air rifle or pistol. They fy straight, fast and far as well as hitting hard even out pretty far on small game. I liked the pellets and didn't really even want to change. They were cheap and worked great in all my guns and for all my intended purposes. I noticed at a store that the air gun ammo selection as well as accessories has boomed in the last few years. I was reinvigorated! I picked up alloy pellets, hollow points, flatnose pellets, magnum pellets... I wanted to try them all like a kid in a candy store. Some worked better than others, but none seemed to beat the all around versatility of my daisy pointed precision max pellets. I did some research ...

  • THEY EXPAND PROPERLY AND ARE A GOOD DEAL

Appear to expand even with my Mendoza M8 650 ft/sec air rifle. Some of the .177's expand to over .22" after being fired into water. They shoot to the same point of aim with this rifle and make excellent groups.
