This is an excellent drone for a beginner or a seasoned pilot. It is very stable and very very easy to fly. If it loses contact with the controller it will automatically fly home and even land itself. It also does this if the battery in the drone gets low on voltage. It is much more stable than the two Syma 8 drones that I have. The camera takes excellent videos or photos.

Im happy with it, but then again I'm not. First of all, the instruction manual was not proof read. I found so many errors in word use which in some cases made it very difficult to understand what the manual is explaining. The Calibration of the flight trim is nearly impossible. Flys very erratic very quickly and leaves you with almost no time to fully calibrate its flight via the controller. I found it easier to fly using just the phone app but there are still challenges to overcome. The "out of range" alarm comes on right at when it's too late to recover the drone. I ended up crashing into a tall tree. I can't stress enough that if you're flying this for the first time, find a huge park with no obstacles at all. You will use up the entire battery just trying to calibrate the drone. Long story short, I'm probably going to throw this thing in the trash. Not worth the $100 I paid for it....Read full review

This toy aircraft operates via wifi, and has a flight range of roughly 2000 feet from the remote control (give or take). Since all flight is to be within line-of-sight, for most people the wifi range will not be a problem. If you live in an area where you can maintain eyeball contact with your aircraft for a distance of 3 miles, then the Phantom 3 Advanced is probably the toy aircraft for you.

I didn't know if I would like this quad with all the talk going around about it. I thought it was some kind of selling trick. How wrong I was, this quad is great and everything they said about it is true!!! Took it out for my first flight and loved every minute of it. You do get 20 minutes or more depending on how hard your flying it..... Got a hard case for it and fits great.
