Great kit, after a bit of setting-up out of the box (same with any new guitar) it's fairly decent to play. Ok, if you're used to an Ibanez/Fender then I would recommend saving the extra to buy one, but for a first guitar this is perfect. For its price, you get a lot for your money. The amp's overdrive isn't amazing for hard/classic rock, but a cheap distortion pedal fixes that - it sounds brilliant now. Definitely loud enough for home use too! The pickguard has rough edges when the plastic was cut and were not smoothed out. The frets seem to be relatively smooth. No noticeable buzz on any of the strings. All in all a decent beginner guitar for my 5yr old grandson.

Well first of all the guitar itself is nice and pretty, mine did have some scratch marks on the black front panel but I was just grateful it showed up. I have yet tested out the amp as I am using this and plugging it into the PS4 for the game to learn how to play. It is a little bit heavy but not a big deal to me. All items showed up BUT the Picks, I contacting them and they quickly mailed them out. When the item first shipped the guitar was sent back due to it getting damaged so it took a couple of extra weeks to get it so if you are getting it as a present for a special day (mine was V day) make sure you order early in case something happens and it gets damaged during shipping.

Great entry level guitar pack. Nice straight neck with no fret buzz. Way better than an entry level guitar from the 1970's The pickups do not sound as good as ones on a thousand dollar strat but they are ok. The AMP is ok. Very playable guitar; can't go wrong for the money.
