Take about a day to charge if completely dead and only major design flaw is the 1Amp input charge especially without the pass through charge feature other than that and the charger cable inluded is cheap. It does have a large capacity and it will keep you going for longer. I paid more retail for one much smaller in capacity with same features.

The item was great to start with. It charged my phone very fast, and that it what I was looking for. But after few days, the cable that came with this has broken, so I had to change it. Ever since, it takes just as much time to charge the phone as if I was charging it on the original charger. It takes up to 2 days for this external battery to fully charge. If you are looking for something that can keep your phone "alive" while you're out, it can have purpose.

I order this power bank for a hiking trip. so when my phone battery got low I would have plenty of power in my new bank. they shipped it immediately and I was happy. I fully charged it, a few days later went on my hike. when time came to use the bank...NOTHING. the so called light didn't work, it wouldn't change my Samsung note, my friend tried his iPhone and still nothing. I thought I must have done something wrong charging it I got home recharged it fully the lights indicated that I charged it when it was plugged in charging the light would work but as soon as I disconnected it that light no longer work it would not charge any of my devices even when it was plugged in and charging it still wouldn't charge anything it was a complete waste of money. I contacted the company and left an unhappy review and they said if I leave a happy review and delete the negative review they would send me a replacement I said not a chance send me one that works and then I will leave positive feedback I have heard nothing from themRead full review

[Update]Use the little cable for charging power pack. Another USB cable wouldn't charge. Regular USB cable *does* charge cellphone correctly. ------ When connected to powered phone it cannot keep up with power usage, so the phone's power progressively drops. I turned off the phone and left them to charge over night. This morning the phone showed only 85% charge! After powering up, the phone immediately dropped to 84% -- implying that the power pack just does not have enough power to push the phone to completion at all. No fuss initial charge. Used twice already. Seems to be heavier than lithium. Recycle logo lacks detail. Be gentle when using supplied charging cable; charging cable not data.
